Visit at “Sripatha Mahula”

The place visited by Shrimaan Mahaprabhu.

Sunday is the day of exploration.  Today, I went to Shripath Mahula, where footfall happened of Lord Mahaprabhu himself.  This Sripath is between Baharampur and Beldanga.  On the way to Bangladesh from Sripath in Telgaria of Khagra, Mahaprabhu Gaurahari rested at this place and offered his Puja to idol Kanai Balai. Bhabuk Chakraborti has mentioned about Shripath Mahula in his book Bhakti Ratnakar. Large beautiful village is Mahula.

The Sripath, about one and a half km inside the National Road at no 34.  The family members of Shri Govindadas, who was closed to  Mahaprabhu, are now serving the Lord.  The idol of  Kanai Balai that is located in this temple, is unique.  The bluish-colored Kanai idol is of beautiful.  Elder brother Balai, means Balaram, is playing flute here.  It is heard that this Shrivigraha was earlier in the bank of Ganges.

Later, after receiving the dream from God, the Idol was erected here and later on the temple was built. This is where Mahaprabhu came and worshiped Kanai Balai.  If you look at Kanai idol, very difficult to turn back eyes. An instant clash of the foot of the Lord can be found.  There was also a beautiful evening visit.

Blessed and rejoiced in bowing down on this shribhumi.
