Diwali / Deepavali puja in office

Diwali Lakshmi puja as the name suggests is a sacred ritual which is performed on the third auspicious day of festival Diwali. The ritual is dedicated to the “Goddess of wealth, prosperity and opulence” i.e “Goddess Lakshmi”. This puja is performed on the Amavasya of Kartik month as per the Hindu mythology. According to the legend, Goddess Lakshmi who is also the wife of Lord Vishnu visits earth on this occasion to bless her devotees. Therefore, the devotees on this auspicious and sacred day in order to welcome the goddess clean their homes, decorate it with diyas and lightings and prepare sweets for her. Along with this preparation, devotees also perform this puja in order to seek her blessings in the form of wealth, prosperity and opulence. It is believed that happier the goddess Lakshmi is, the more she bestows her devotees with wealth and prosperity. Being such an important and significant ritual in Hinduism, it is every year performed during the right muhurat with all essential samagris along with proper guidance of a learned priest.
