Dhanvantri havan is a Hinduritual dedicated to Lord Dhanvantri, who is incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Lord Dhanvantri is regarded as the “divine physician” of all three worlds. In our hind mythology he is believed to be the one who has created the medical powerand cures health ailments. This havan is performed in order to invoke Lord Dhanvantri so that he could generate positive vibrationand safeguard everyone from extreme health problems. It is believed that by performing this ritual God Dhanvantri will eradicate negative energy leading to health problems and will promote the flow of positive energy which further will promote a good well being of the devotee. He is also the one who heralded the practice of Ayurveda and made people realised the importance of it. It is recommended to perform this ritual atleast once a year in order to promote the flow of positive energy in the environment which would result in the reduction of health issues among the family members, to eradicate health problems and to promote the well being of devotees.
